Sustainability
Climate Change and Plastic Waste
Climate change and plastic waste pollution are issues that affect us all. Trisa Electronics contributes to improvement through targeted measures.
Plastic-Reduced Packaging
Since early 2019, we have been avoiding unnecessary plastic and Styrofoam packaging for new products. Instead, we use eco-friendly materials like egg cartons and tissue paper. No more cables and instruction manuals wrapped in plastic! With your next purchase of a Trisa Electronics device, you can avoid a flood of plastic waste.
Proper Disposal
Trisa Electronics enables the free disposal of used devices in accordance with Swiss standards. As a vRG partner of SENS, we support the Swiss recycling system. According to a life cycle assessment by Carbotech AG, the recycling of electronic devices in 2016 contributed 2,800 billion environmental impact points (UBP) to the prevention of pollutant emissions.

Solar Panels
Trisa Electronics relies on sustainable electricity from solar panels. On an area of 1,404 m², we generate approximately 135,000 kWh of solar energy annually. This corresponds to the electricity consumption of about 28 single-family homes.
Groundwater Cooling and Rainwater Use
We use natural cooling from surface water, saving 4.8 million kWh of energy annually – equivalent to the needs of 980 single-family homes. Additionally, we collect rainwater, which is used, for example, for toilet flushing, saving 3,000 m³ of drinking water annually.
Environmentally Friendly Transportation
Our field staff in Austria already drive hybrid vehicles, and in Triengen, there is a charging station for electric cars. For more information on our ecological measures, click here.
