Use suitable Raclette cheese that melts well. Make sure that the small pans are clean and that the oven is adequately preheated. Cut the cheese into thin slices to facilitate quicker melting.
The little pans typically have a non-stick coating. If cheese sticks, the coating has been damaged due to improper cleaning. In this case, they should be replaced. Clean the little pans thoroughly after each use to remove cheese and food residues. Use special cleaning products for non-stick coatings and a soft brush to protect the little pans. Soak the little pans in warm soapy water to make cleaning easier.
Place the oven on a silicone pad or a heat-resistant cotton cloth. Make sure that you have the device set up the right way. Do not place objects in close proximity to the raclette grill.
Use high-quality tea lights that have a long burning time. Make sure that no draft affects the flames of the candles. Place the candle fondue in a wind-protected but well-ventilated area to ensure optimal flame performance.
Regularly move the small pans to ensure even heat distribution. Cut the cheese into uniform pieces and make sure the small pans are not overfilled.
This is normal, as the dishes are close to the candles/fuel to ensure rapid melting. After use, place the dishes in the housing and transport them to avoid any discoloration. Soak the dishes in warm soapy water to make cleaning easier.
