Check the power cable for any damages and make sure the power outlet is functioning. Try using a different power outlet. If the device still does not work, there may be an internal electrical issue.
Make sure that the food is evenly distributed in the appliance and not stacked on top of each other. Check the thickness of the sandwiches to ensure they are heated evenly. Clean the heating plates regularly. Start the process only when the appliance is fully heated up (when the operation light goes off).
When the operating light goes out, it usually means that the device is fully heated up. The device is still in operation and will maintain the desired temperature by regularly turning on and off. However, if the device does actually shut down completely, this may indicate overheating. In that case, allow the device to cool down completely and make sure it is used in a well-ventilated area. Clean the device regularly to avoid deposits that could cause overheating.
